This past weekend INDIE Live Expo 2025 took place showcasing over 100+ indie games from across Asia and around the world. One of the many games that caught my attention was Marisa of Liartop Mountain.
Marisa of Liartop Mountain is a Touhou digital tabletop adventure RPG inspired by classic gamebooks developed by Unknown X. Jump into a living storybook as Touhou heroine Reimu Hakurei searches otherworldly realms for hints to Marisa’s whereabouts. Explore wondrous locales including eccentric libraries, barren deserts, peculiar circuses, and much more. Which direction will Reimu go? Many forks await on the surreal road ahead. Encounter enemies along the way, and decide between fight or flight as each decision leads down different paths, growing the story arc in a new direction and leading to multiple endings
Marisa of Liartop Mountain is set for a September 19, 2025 release on PC and on Nintendo Switch.
