It’s been awhile since we had any anime press releases about new releases coming out. NISA today announced that they will be releasing a complete premium edition of A Lull in the Sea. I’m not too familiar with the series so I will let the press description of the show do the talking:
“Long ago, humans lived in the sea. However, some humans defied the Sea God and moved to the land, creating the division that now exists between Shioshishio, the Sea Village, and Oshiooshi, the village of the land. Now, four middle school students from the Sea Village, Manaka Mukaido, Hikari Sakishima, Chisaki Hiradaira, and Kaname Isaki must attend Mihama Middle School on the surface. While getting used to their new lives, these four and their new friend from the surface, Tsumugu Kihara, learn how true bonds of love and friendship can overcome any separation.”
The complete premium edition of A Lull in the Sea will be coming in 26 episodes on 3-disk Blue-ray and will have the following extras:
- Hardcover art book (full color, 76 pages) with character info, episode guide, text commentary, prop designs, and full background art and art settings
- Clean Opening Themes, Clean Ending Themes, and original Japanese Trailers
- 2 CD soundtracks (Disc 1 – 31 songs, Disc 2 – 29 songs)
A Lull in the Sea Complete Premium Edition will be priced at $179.99 and will see a release date of June 30, 2015.
