Its good to see Little Witch Academia to go from Kickstarter underdog to a favorite among anime fans. With a second film in the process of a Kickstarter campaign, Bandai Namco thought that it would be a good fit for a video game. At Anime Expo 2017 this weekend, they annoucned that they will be localizing and publishing Little Witch Academia Chamber of Time for the PS4 and PC via Steam in early 2018.
Little Witch Academia Chamber of Time stars Atsuko “Akko” Kagar who right before leaving for Summer break hears about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Its up to her and her friends to solve the mystery of the Seven Wonders in an an all new original story line that takes place at the school. The game seems to be a side scrolling ARPG in the vein of other games like Muramasa The Demon Blade but with magic and cute witches. The game is set for an early 2018 release on PS4 and PC via Steam.
