Bandai Namco recently made two announcements regarding Dark Souls III. The first is the reveal of the final piece of DLC for the game, titled ‘The Ringed City’. In this final piece of DLC, players are chasing the Slave Knight Gael to the ends of the world as he seeks out the Dark Soul of Humanity. The DLC will include new monsters to fight, new characters, armor, magic and weapons to battle against the madness and insanity that is the Ringed City. The DLC will be available to download in March.
The second anncouncement Bamdai Namco made is that Dark Souls II will be getting a Game of the Year edition called ‘The Fire Fades Edition’. This edition of the game comes with the base game and the two pieces of DLC, ‘Ashes of Ariandel’ and the afore mentioned ‘The Ringed City’. Dark Souls III The Fire Fades Edition will see a release in Europe and Japan on April 21, 2017. No word yet on a North American release, but we should assume that the game should be out on that same week on Tuesday.
