Bandai Namco to bring Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul to the West this fall

After the “success” of Saint Seiya Brave Soldiers, it seems that the West is hungry for more Saint Seiya games. And Namco is all to happy to oblige the fans as they have announced that they will be bring Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul to the West for the PS4, PS3 and PC. Souls of the West is based on the ongoing Saint Seiya: Souls of Gold anime that is currently airing.

Herve Hoerdt, Vice President of IP Strategy, Marketing & PR at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe had this to say about the game coming to the West:

“As an entertainment provider, we are very proud with the activity around Saint Seiya, a legendary licence! On one hand, we have a new Anime on our very own Daisuki.net, on the other hand Saint Seiya will hit PC and PlayStation 4 for the first time ever with this Soldiers’ Soul opus! Our collaboration with Dimps has always been successful and our latest collaboration, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, proved that our duo is working perfectly well! We all are excited to see this game coming out in Fall 2015!”

Here is the brand new trailer that was released when the game was announced:

I remember watching the anime back in the early 90’s when it was called Knights of the Zodiac and it was actually pretty good, at least for anime in the 90’s. Now that the series is making a come back, at least in video game form, here in the West hopefully this leads to someone localizing the anime as well. Until then  Saint Seiya Soliders’ Gold is set for a Fall 2015 release.
