Steel yourself and get ready for an 16-bit journey as Battle Princess Madelyn is set for a December 6. 2018 release. Developed by Causal Bit Games, Battle Princess Madelyn is a 16-bit side scroll action game that takes heavy inspiration from the Capcom classic Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. The game stars Madelyn, a young princess and knight in training whose kingdom one day is attack by the evil Horned Sorcerer. During the attack the Horned Sorcerer kidnaps her family and kills her loyal dog Fritzy as he tries to stop him. Overcome with grief and anger of losing her best friend and having her family kidnapped, Madelyn sets out to save them and her kingdom. She’s joined by the spirit of Fritzy as they traverse over 10 levels roaming through the European countryside saving villagers as she and Fritzy get closer to defeating the evil sorcerer.
