Finding physical versions of any game from a previous generation of console is hard enough, finding physical versions of Sega Saturn games is even tougher, especially if some of the games have never been released in the West. This is the case for a trio of shmups: Cotton 2, Cotton Boomerang and Guardian Force. While the digital versions of these games have been released, there are some who would love to have a physical copy of these games. That is where Strictly Limited Games comes in.
Strictly Limited Games has announced that they will be producing a very limited run on a couple of physical editions for Cotton and Guardian Force under the title Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute for the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch. The tribute collection will include all three games in one package and will retail for $39.99 and will be limited to 2,500 copies for the Nintendo Switch and 1,000 copies for the PS4. Then there’s the Collection Edition of the game and it comes with some really cool items:

The Collector’s edition is limited to only 2,500 copies on the Nintendo Switch and 1,000 on the PS4 and will be priced at $69.99, which isn’t a bad deal considering everything you get in the collector’s edition. If you want to get your hands on either of these editions, pre-orders will be opening up on the Strictly Limited Games website starting on October 17, 2021. So be sure to lock down your copy at that time since pre-orders will sell out fast.
