Dead or Alive 5: Last Round bringing the fight to next gen consoles

For the most part, the DOA (Dead or Alive) series has been the butt of the joke for fighting games since DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball. No one really took the series seriously after that. But when DOA 5 came out, people started to come back to the series. Now that the next gen is upon us Team Ninja has decided to take the fight to next gen consoles. At Sony’s pre-TGS conference a new version of DOA 5 Ultimate was revealed:

After the conference a press release was sent out by Temco Koei stating that DOA 5 Last Round will deliver the largest roster in the history of the series. Meaning that the DLC characters will be included in the game. Any DLC or unlocked costumes will be transferable to Last Round. The game is set to be release in 2015 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. There is no word if there will be a free core fighters version of DOA 5 Last Round for the PS4 that will be similar to the core fighters version of the PS3.
