With it being delayed and canceled due to the Tohoku Earthquake in 2011 and seeing a Japanese release last year, Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Dreams is finally coming over to the West in the Spring.
For those who don’t remember, Disaster Report was a series of survival games where players would have to survive a natural disaster that hits the city, save people you meet along the way and investigate if this truly is a natural disaster or some other sinister plot by a third party. Think of it as the video game version of all the natural disaster movies that have been released.
Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Dreams has players take on the role of the main protagonist whose in the city for a job interview when an earthquake rocks the city and everything is starting to literally fall apart. Avoid falling buildings, tremors, aftershocks and other dangerous hazards as you make your escape from the city, helping other survivors in the process and investigate on the truth of the disaster. Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Dreams is set for a April 7, 2020 release on the PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch, with the PS4 version being VR compatible.
