When it was teased that Sony was releasing a prequel to the God of War games everyone got both excited and a bit wary, especially due to the fact that multiplayer was announced for the game. At Sony’s E3 press conference, Santa Monica Studio showed off the single player to the prequel God of War Ascension:
From what has been revealed prior to E3, Ascension takes place before Kratos makes a deal with the gods, most likely before the first God of War. Other than that not much was revealed. More about Kratos’ epic blood spewing journey should be revealed as E3 continues.
