It’s not a Microsoft press conference without their flagship franchise Halo getting some type of announcement. 343 industries had two trailers that they showed off at the press conference. The first trailer that was shown off was the Halo Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One. The collection consists of HD remasters of all of the Halo games for the Xbox One:
Not only will each of the single player campaigns be redone in HD, players will be able for the first time have access to each multiplayer map. There are over a hundred iconic maps all redone in HD for a new generation of fans. For serious Halo fans this is a collection that is not to be missed. The second trailer hypes up the multiplayer beta for Halo 5 Guardians that comes with the Halo Master Chief Collection:
While it would be nice to get more information about Halo 5, other than a 2015 release window, the Halo Master Chief Collection and the Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta will be enough to keep fans busy till then. The Halo Master Chief Collection will see a release of November 11, 2014.
