Whenever news gets out that Suds 51 is working on a new game, everyone can agree on a few things:its going to be strange and loud. In other words a typical Suda 51 game. Last year during the Tokyo Game Show, it was revealed that he was working on a new IP called Lily Bergamo. Here’s what it looked like when it was shown last year:
Now Suda 51 has brought the game over to E3 to show off Lily Bergamo, sort of. We are presented with Let it Die instead:
Let it Die retains the same ideas that were going to be implemented in Lily Bergamo: “extreme action game” coupled with asynchronous online gameplay with survival aspects. Players will also be using their own customized avatar instead of Tae Ioroi the original protagonist for Lily Bergamo. Now its not uncommon to see games get changed from their original form over the development period, with Suda 51 and Grasshopper on the other hand, changes were made after he and the company went creative soul searching. Whatever the reason maybe, one this is for sure, we are in a wild ride since it is a Suda 51 game.
