Out of all the Star Wars games that have been released over the years, my personal favorite were the Star Wars Battlefront games. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be dropped in the middle of some of the movies most iconic battles. Battlefront II took it even further with the addition of epic space battles. Many fans were waiting for the latest Battlefield to to happen on the 360 and PS3, but a buy out from a mouse changed all of that. Until now. EA has partnered with LucasGames to bring the definitive Star War experience on the PS4, Xbox One and the PC. Though exciting, many fans are a bit cautious when it comes to EA and licensed games. At their E3 2015 press conference yesterday, EA had put fans worries to rest as they showed a gameplay trailer of one of the most iconic battles in Star Wars:
In this re-imagining of the Battle of Hoth we get to see the action from both the eyes of the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. There is so much going on: you have foot soldiers on each side fighting, X-Wings and TIE fighters buzzing around trying to shoot each other down, and of course the thunderous steps of the ATAT. All of this ends with a climatic showdown between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. Join the fight this November 16, 2015 when the game releases.
