Over the past few years it seems that everyone’s favorite web head has been getting the short end of the stick lately due to a few hit or miss video game outings and movie reboots. Hot off the heels of his introduction into the MCU, Insomniac Games started development of a Spider-Man game exclusive to the PS4. And after months of waiting to see what gameplay looks like, Spidey swung into E3 2018 with two new gameplay trailers. The first one was shown during the Playstation conference and has Spider-Man and NYPD captain Yuri Watanabe heading to the super max prison RAFT, to investigate a breakout:

Spider-Man is shaping up to be one of the best games that he’s been in, thanks to the staff over at Insomniac Games. Spider-Man is set to release on September 7, 2018. Also releasing at the same time is the collector’s edition of the game which includes:

- Spider-Man statue (which will be revealed this Summer)
- Custom steel book

- Costume pack
