The other big game that Square Enix revealed besides Final Fantasy VII Remake was the long teased Avengers game. With the success of Endgame, many Marvel fans have been waiting to see what Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics and Edios Montreal have cooked up for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. And here’s what they have to show in a new trailer that Square released this week:
While the game does look amazing, many fans are complaining about the look of the Avengers. This is due to Square using character models that do not look similar to the MCU Avengers. I can understand why fans are disappointed, they’ve gotten to know these characters over the past ten years through the MCU, so when they see for example Tony Stark, they see Robert Downy Jr as Tony Stark. Same goes for the likes of Captain America, Thor, Black Widow etc, etc. Regardless the game looks great and we can only hope that Square doesn’t mess this up. The Avengers will assemble May 2020 on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
