When Devil May Cry 5 was revealed at E3 2018, many die hard fans of the series shocked to see that Capcom has kept the looks and action of Ninja Theory’s DmC while going back to the mainline series. They wanted more, and at Gamescom this week, they got more. First on their stage at Gamescom, IGN had producer Matt Walker and director Hideaki Itsuno give a live fifteenth minute demo of the game, which you can see here:
In the demo they explain a bit about Nero’s new arm, the origin of the game, and new gameplay elements. In addition to the gameplay demo, a brand new trailer was release as well. Check it out below:
In this trailer we see more of Nero in action, going up against all sorts of crazy enemies. Then closing the trailer is the second time Datne appears, this time mowing down enemies with his motorcycle and then pulling the two ends apart and using them as over-sized chainsaw swords. THe action in both videos is fast, frantic and most important of all, stylish. For those who want to wash the taste of DmC out of their mouths can pick up the game on August 3, 2019.
