Dragon Quest wasn’t the only franchise that Square Enix was showing off at JUMP Festa 2015. They also brought a couple of Final Fantasy trailers to show off to attendees. One of those trailers was a new trailer for Final Fantasy Type 0 HD. Yes they released two trailers within the last few days already, but this one shows more gameplay and gives a bit more details about the story and of Class 0:
Out of all the trailers that have been released so far, I think I like this one the best. Not only does it show gameplay for the various students of Class 0, but it also invoked a feeling of sadness, anger and despair within the class. I don’t blame them, it looks like more than half of the class is in their early teens while the other half are in their late teens. While they are not kids, they still have a lot of growing up to do and all of a sudden they are thrust into the front lines of a war that might kill them. I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t wait for the game.
SE also showed off the limited edition of the game, and also revealed a limited edition Final Fantasy Type 0 HD PS4. The system is a crimsion/maroon red, the same colors that Class 0 have and also has the logo of the game on the face plate of the PS4. Here’s a screen shot of what the system looks like:
Now that’s a really nice looking PS4. I do have doubts that something this limited will see a release in the West, SE has been know not to release limited edition systems to the West. If they do however, it will probably be in a super limited quantities. Regardless the game itself will see a March 17, 2015 release in North America, March 19, 2015 in Japan and March 20, 2015 in Europe.
