The release date for Playstation All Stars Battle Royale’s two DLC characters Kat and Emmett have finally been announced.
Back in December Seth Killian revealed that Gravity Rush’s Katt and Starhawk’s Emmett Graves will be the first two DLC characters for PSABR. While he left the release date vague he did say that the two will be free to download for at least two weeks. This past week, that release date had been revealed to be February 12, 2013. In addition to the release date, SuperBot also released the reveal trailers to each character showing fans what they can expect. First up is Katt:
As shown in the trailer, Katt is super light and fast. Her gravity dash can have her crossing the screen really quickly both on the ground and in the air. She has a wide range of kicks and when using her gravity powers, she can pick up objects around her to throw at other players. Her super has her fuse with her little black cat and goes in a type of berserker rage mode in which one hit from her is a insta-kill.
As for Emmett, he brings his Riffter arsenal to the battle. He can call upon drop pods that can give him a pistol, an assault rifle, shotgun and a rocket launcher, each with their very own move sets. Emmet’s fire power allows him to have a keep away game and a if he needs to deal damage up close he’re prepared for that. For his super he can all upon his hawk and deal out damage in mech mode, just like Sweet Tooth. Unlike Sweet Tooth though, Emmet can take to the skies and go on a bombing run, killing everyone in sight.
These two look very fun to play, and I can’t wait to be able to download them next month.
