It seems that the Remastering /Re-make trend that started a few years ago is starting to pick up again. This time however one of Sony’s most visceral characters of all time is about unleash his vengeance on the PS4. That character is Kratos and he will be getting a remaster in the form of God of War III Remasterd. Sony announced Kratos’ return today, which also happened to be the 10 year anniversary of the series. On the Playstation Blog, Cory Barlog developer at Sony Santa Monica Studios and director of God of war II made the annoucment and showed off a trailer for the game:
God of War III was one of the most visually impressive (and bloody) games to be released on the PS3 and now these visuals are given an upgrade to make them even more impressive (and bloody). The game is set to release July 14, 2015 and will be at the $39.99 price range.
