If you love anime and manga, then this is a game you want to keep an eye out for.
Now I’ve known about J-Stars for a while now, I just never got around to cover the game since I’ve been busy with other things. But since the game is only a few months a away (March 19) I want everyone to know about this game. If you haven’t guessed or might not know what is going on, Shonen Jump is a monthly/weekly magazine that publishes Japanese comics, also known as manga, It is one of the oldest publishers in Japan and enjoys a readership that not only spans Japan but all around the world.
For those of us that were growing up in the 90’s, this is where some of the most iconic characters got their start and later jumped into our homes everyday after school. Titles like Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakasho, Ruroni Kenshen, and more made kids like me interested in Japan. And let’s not forget the current generation of titles that are gracing the pages of JUMP. Hunter X Hunter, Kuroko no Basket, One Piece, Naruto and many more carry on the legacy. So to celebrate the 45 anniversary of JUMP what better way to celebrate than to bring the gang together……and see who is the strongest. Much like Smash and PSABR, this is a all out brawl among JUMP’s finest. Check out the new trailer that features five more fighters ready to brawl:
There was some rumblings about the game getting a Western release, well EU at least, but no confirmation as of yet. The game will release in Japan on March 19 for the PS3 and the Vita.
