Due to be revealed tomorrow, but leaked early thanks to IGN’s Italian site, Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain finally has a worldwide release date of September 1st. IGN did an exclusive interview with Hideo Kojima taking about the game in more detail that was suppose to air tomorrow, but somehow their Italian division leak the video early. In the video Kojima talks about how a new engine, The FOX engine, was needed in order to achieve the amazing looking and very detailed world The Phantom Pain takes place in. Here’s the video in full:
