With the successful return of Mortal Kombat to fighting games, fans have clamored for more Mortal Kombat. While Injustice was a really solid fighter, its no MK. As soon as the next gen consoles released, many fans have been asking will there be a Mortal Kombat for the next gen? For a whole Ed Boon, co-creator of MK and head of NetherRealm Studios, didn’t have much to say other than maybe. Then yesterday fans got their answer:
This teaser trailer of iconic MK fighters Sub-Zero and Scorpion was released and shows the two squaring off. There have been some questions about if this teaser trailer was created using in game assists or is a pre-rendered in cgi. Regardless the teaser looks awesome and for some reason the background music, a new song by Wiz Khalifa, kind matches along with the action. Mortal Kombat X will have a full reveal at E3 next week and will be coming out in 2015 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC
