Out of all the Mega Man-esque games that have been released over the years before Mega Man 11, Azure Striker GUNVOLT has been the most Meg Man like. This is mostly due to the fact that Inti Creates developed the spin off series, Mega Man Zero. And after two successful entries, Inti Creates and Keiji Inafune join forces once again to “a brand new type of action game experience for GUNVOLT fans old and new” in the form of Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3, as announced during New Game Plus Expo 2.0.
In addition to new bosses, enemies and levels, Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3 also has a new playable character, Kirin that is joining the mix. Kirin is an Adept that has the ability to Septimal powers of other Adepts using her sword made from a pewter staff. The game is still in development and will be released sometime in 2022.
