For the past few years Aksys Games has been the go to publisher for visual novels and otome games on consoles. During New Game Plus Expo 2022 Aksys Games announced that they will be bringing Jack Jeanne to the Nintendo Switch.
Jack Jeanne is an otome/rhythm game (more on the rhythm part in a bit) that has players take on the role of Kisa Tachibana, a promising dancer who dreams of becoming an actor. As she is about to give up her dream, she is given a second chance by attending Univers Opera School. There are two conditions for her to attend however: the first is to get the lead in the final performance of the year. The second is to hide her identity as the school is an all boys school. In addition to having all of the typical otome/visual novel tropes, the game also has rhythm gameplay segments and school sim sections, thus making it stand out. Jack Jeanne also happens to be the next project of Tokyo Ghoul’s mangaka Sui Ishida, as he is the Original creator, original character designer, world designer, illustrator, and insert song lyricist. Get ready to perform your heart out as Jack Jeanne is set for a 2023 release
