Child of Light has a peculiar story to it. Not the actual in game story mind you, it is the how this game came to be and the people coming together that is the peculiar. First off the core development team is made up of people who have worked on Far Cry 3, its was inspired by classic JRPGS, has concept art done by Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano, and revealed in the latest trailer had music and theatrics help from Coeur de Pirate and Cirque du Soleil Media:
I’ve seen a lot of strange combinations in gaming, but with the people that Child of Light is bringing together is something else. And I love it. I love the fact that the members of the Far Cry 3 dev team are steping out of their comfort zone to make a RPG that was inspired by JRPGs, Amano’s art, has music from a well known French-Canadian composer and Cirque du Soleil is helping with making the game more theatrical. And all for only $15? The game is set to come on the 30th, which is the end of the month . I just hope that people give this game a chance.
