In addition to the games that they announced at their panel during Anime Expo this past weekend, NIS America also announced that they would be bringing Hanasaku Iroha the Movie: Home Sweet Home this Fall. The movie takes place days before the Bonbori festival and Ohana’s friend Yuina comes to the Kissuiso Inn for training. As Ohana is cleaning up after Yuina, she finds a log book that gives glimpses of her mother’s past when she was a youth working at the Kissuiso.
Ohana starts to learn a bit more about her mother and thinks maybe they’re more alike than she thought. The premium edition of the movie will come with really neat extras such as a 32 page colored art book, and the original Japanese commercials for the movie Hanasaku Iroha the Movie: Home Sweet Home will be out on October 14 at select online retailers.
