The glory days of the arcades is coming to the Switch this Fall. Ever since Nintendo released their new system, the eShop has been filling up with many arcade classic games from SNK, one of the biggest names in arcades during the 80’s. 2018 marks the company’s 40th anniversary and to celebrate SNK has teamed up with NISA to release the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection exclusively for the Switch.
Now it may sound like it might be just another compilation of SNK’s most popular games but its not. This collection consist of some of the company’s earliest games made for the arcade are their home ports. The collection includes the following games with more to be announced later:

- Athena(Console/Arcade)
- Crystalis(Console)
- Ikari Warriors(Console/Arcade)
- Ikari Warriors II: Victory Road(Console/Arcade)
- Ikari Warriors III: The Rescue(Console/Arcade)

- P.O.W.(Console/Arcade)
- Prehistoric Isle(Arcade)
- Psycho Soldier(Arcade)
- Street Smart(Arcade)
- TNK III(Console/Arcade)
- Vanguard(Arcade)
It’s not an anniversary collection with out a limited edition version of the game. SNK and NISA will also release a limited edition of the game. This edition comes with the following:

The SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will be releasing some time this Fall 2018 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
