Sony reveals Playstaion Classic

Retro mini consoles. Nintendo has two of them. Atari has a couple of them as well. Hell, SEGA has a ton of them. So, following this trend Sony decided to create their own retro console as well. Dubbed Playstation Classic, the mini retro console is about 45% smaller than the original Playstation. It will come with two original USB wired Playstation controllers, an HDMI cable, a USB type C cable to help power the system and of course twenty packed in games. They do mention that the AC wall adapter is sold separately, however personally I don’t think this is much of an issue. Here’s the trailer showing off the system that was release early this morning:

As for the packed in games, so far only five have been announced. Those five are the following:

  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Tekken 3
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Wild Arms
  • Jumping Flash

Other games have not been announced yet, but will be soon. The Playstation Classic will will be released on December 3, 2018 for $99.99.
