Tales of Hearts R isn’t the only Tales of game that will be coming out this year. Tales of Xillia 2 was given a release window of 2014 and Namco has finally nailed down the exact release date. The game will be coming out on August 19, 2014 for North America and August 20, 2014 for Europe. But that’s just the beginning of what Namco announced. They also revealed that Tales of Xillia 2 will be getting two different editions: a Ludger Kresnik Collector’s Edition and Day 1 Edition. Here is what the Ludger Kresnik Collector’s Edition looks like and what comes with it:
• Tales of Xillia 2 full-game
• Ludger Kresnik figure
• Elle’s Pocket Watch Replica Compact
• Tales of Xillia 2 Original tracks selected by the dev. team
• Tales of Xillia 2 Art Book
• Ludger’s emblematic cat, Rollo, as a Metalcase housing the game and soundtrack
As for the Day One edition, here is what it will look like and what comes with it:
• Tales of Xillia 2 full-game
• Tales of Xillia 2 Original tracks selected by the dev. team
• Tales of Xillia 2 Metalcase
As I mentioned before, its great to see that Namco Bandai is making an effort to bring games that Western fans want in a timely fashion.
