It’s great to see that the Kunio-kun franchise is still around in this age of modern gaming. While his games may be simple by today’s standards, they still hold up, even with 8-bit graphics and old school gameplay. 2017 marks the 30th anniversary of the series here in the US and two games are set for a release, but how about we see were things all started. At TGS 2017 Arc System Works announced Kunio-kun The World Classics Collection for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
Kunio-kun The World Classics Collection will come packed with the original 11 Kunio-kun games and four bonus games that were never released in Japan but only in the West. Here is the list of all the games:

Every game in the collection will have support for online play and tons of chances for replayability. As mentioned, Kunio-kun The World Classics Collection will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the Switch sometime in 2018. As for if the West will see these games, I’d like to think there is a slight chance we might.
