During the Taipei Game Show that took place this weekend weekend, Nihon Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo showed off the first bit of gameplay for the PS4 version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana at stage event hosted by Sony. The following videos show off improved gameplay and graphics made to the PS4 version:
Several improvements have been made to the game including a counter attack system, an expanded story with a new scenario, and several visual improvements. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be releasing in Japan on May 25, 2017. There’s no word yet on a Western release, but with it having a very strong community in the West, there might be a chance.
